Orginize Information in the Component

Whether you’re just getting settled in or have been here for years – here are ten quick tips to make living easy.

Parking

  • Parking - There are six garages located around the perimeter of the property and on street parking available on all Loop Roads. Take a peek at our Parking Map to see which parking facility is closest to you.

  • Keys - Have visitors and need extra keys? No problem. You can request extra keys here

    The tenant of record must show photo ID to collect.

    Locked out? Call Public Safety for immediate assistance at 212.598.5233

  • Dogs - Register your dog here to make sure StuyTown & Peter Cooper Village Dogs have exclusive access to our community.

  • Bikes - Stop into Public Safety (located at 2 Stuyvesant Oval) to get your bike registered, so you can conveniently park it on the LL or T level of your building.

  • Disposals - There are so many options: paper, plastic, trash… Let’s make this easy:

    • Everyday trash – There is a compactor chute on each floor (except for the terrace level (TL) in StuyTown and the lower level (LL) in Peter Cooper Village). Please do not dispose of lit cigarettes, it’s a fire hazard.

    • Recycling & Compost – Bins are located on the (LL) or (TL) of your building.

    • Green = Paper

    • Blue = Glass, plastic, aluminum

    • Brown = Compost (food scraps, food soiled paper & plants

    • The Big Stuff –  Bulk items should be placed at designated locations on the loop roads.  Need a hand with bulk removal? Just give us a text orcall at 212.420.5000 option 1 and we’ll get you scheduled.

  • Laundry - All buildings are equipped with coin-less laundry facilities located on TL or LL of your building, open 7 days a week from 7am-11am. Should you have any issues there is someone on site 7 days a week; chat with us here (lower right side of your screen) or call 844.272.9675. Learn more about Laundry Basics here.

  • Cleaning - Knowing how to clean and care for your appliances is tricky, so we’ve taken the guess work out of it for you. Here is what you need to know.

  • Shades - You can absolutely install custom shades, we just ask that you install brackets to the side and front of the steel casement frame that surround the window and use a #6 sheet metal screw.

  • Storage - Keep your apartment clutter free with access to storage units conveniently located in your building. Contact us for more information. Packages - Don't stress about being home to sign for your packages. Take advantage of Oval Services package service, located at 17A Stuyvesant Oval.
